Thoughts: Holiday Season

So not only was it Thanksgiving, but it was my dad's birthday. Today is my brother's birthday. Wednesday is my girlfriend's birthday, and then the 14th is Lauren's birthday ... in terms of eating that doesn't mean much, but it's the time of cookies and cakes and a lot of non-vegan things. Speaking of, I'm currently baking a Funfetti cake and it killed me to break three eggs. -_- But it's not for me, it's for my brother, and I didn't want to experiment with the egg replacer and screw it up. It's weird how much my attitude has changed. I like to believe in "everything in moderation" but that's butting heads with "BAD VEGAN!" so it's like... heh. I'm leaning more toward the "moderation" angle and trying not to beat myself up. Geesh.

Food Diary (Thanksgiving)

A VEGAN THANKSGIVING? CAN IT BE DONE? OF COURSE! Starred items are items I cooked mahself.

• **Tofurky roast on a bed of seasoned onions and carrots**
• **Mashed potatoes made with soymilk and vegan butter**
• Mushroom gravy made with vegetable stock, flour, and vegan butter
• Steamed broccolini with pepper and garlic
• Smashed butternut squash with maple syrupy business
• **Pumpkin pie with cinnamon-crumb topping (!!!)**
• Silk Nog

Non-vegan items on the menu:
• Roast turkey breast
• Gravy
• Apple pie

This is a little preemptive as I have not yet eaten any of this, but oh god I am so hungry. Want want want.

Weight recently has been around 196. Which is good, 'cause for a while I neglected to mention that I was back around 200. I'm not watching the scale too much.
