Thoughts: Reviewing 60 Tips to Weight Loss
I found this via StumbleUpon, and I thought some of it was interesting so I'm posting it here for my own benefit. I'm striking out anything that I really disagree with, and marking in bold anything I really agree with.

I guess my thoughts on this are pretty much why I have a problem with "weight loss support" and tips in general. They make me cranky. They make me roll my eyes and go "that is soooo unnecessary." If they work for you, fine. But for me? I don't need the obnoxious rhymes. I have come to hate phrases like "controlled portion." No matter how good the theory or idea, I get so sick of the weight-loss semantics. It's like they're written to treat adults like children, which is probably why I like the way Skinny Bitch is written. It doesn't talk in terms of kittens-and-rainbows designed to make you hate and fear your food. It speaks my language: sarcasm, profanity, tough love, and passion for food.
So here's my list. It's not a full list, but it's just off the top of my head without really thinking about it.
